Extravaganza & Party in the Parc
Tony Mannix, Glyn Evans, Ceri Jones & Paul White attended Henllan Extravaganza on Saturday 9th August 2008. First thing in the morning it pored down with rain and most attractions got cancelled because of this.
Ann Jones AM officially opened the events with words of welcome to everyone and thanked all involved who organised and to wished for the sunshine to come out. That wish got granted by early afternoon.
Events and activities included Local Produce Stalls, Plant Stalls, Car Boot, Refreshments Tent serving Tea, Coffee with home made cakes.
BBQ-locally supplied produce
Licensed Bar, 'Mucky Pups' face painting, Classic Car and motorcycles, Fire, Police and Ambulance.
Bethany on First Responders motorbike
Hand made Jewellery and wind chimes, Moonjoon Micro Chipping (for pets), Virgin Vie Cosmetics.

and a chance for members of the public to demonstrate their skills

This was well attended with a good turnout.
The HCLA would like to thank the local shops and businesses in Henllan and surrounding areas for the kindness to support various events for the enjoyments of all. On behalf of RYGC many thanks for the warm welcome we had once again, and looking forward to see you all next year.
